Show ROLLER MILLS ARE ALLOWEDJO OPEN W. W. Armstrong Takes Action to Relieve Hardship Hard-ship on Community. It having been established to the satisfaction satis-faction of the food administration that the closing down of the Phoenix Roller mill at Fountain Green had proved a hardship hard-ship on the people of that community, the restoration of the license of that concern has been granted on recommendation of W. W. Armstrong. The mill was closed down several weeks ago after an investigation inves-tigation brought about by charges that N. Hansen, proprietor of the mill, had disregarded the SO -20 flour regulations. While the Php'enix Roller mill will be permitted to resume operations tomorrow, tomor-row, it is stipulated In the order from Washington that the placard announcing that the mill had been closed down because be-cause of violation of the food regulations must remain in place on the door. Mr. Hansen has also been requested to sign a pledge promising in the future to comply com-ply with all food regulations. Under similar conditions, recommendation recommenda-tion has been made to Washington that the Richfield Roller mill and the Richfield Rich-field feed store be permitted lo resume operations October 2?. J. M. Parry, proprietor pro-prietor of the Richfield mill closed his mill for a period of 110 days after having hav-ing been found guilty by W. W. Armstrong, Arm-strong, food administrator for Utah, of violation of the food regulations. |
