Show dricks and the Misses Irene Nelson. Vera Johnson, Edvth Johnson. Alba Johnson, Rhoda Merrill and Clarinda Merrill went to Hyde Park Friday evening to attend a shower given in honor of Mrs. Obid Plant, formerly Miss Fern Hancey. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Stoddard have been visiting here for a few days. Mrs. Hulda Thomas of Bountiful and I Mrs. Susie Woods of Clearfield spent sev eral days of the past week here with relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Harris and Miss Diana Beach of Logan spent Sunday her with Mr. and Mrs. C. Z. Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Olsen of Downey, Idaho, are visiting here. The Keyting club girls spent a pleasant evening Wednesday as the guests of Miaa Alba Johnson. " RICHMOND f 4 , RICHMOND, Oct. 19. Miss Veda Mer-rlil, Mer-rlil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Merrill, Mer-rill, was married at Salt Lake Saturday of last week to Rulon Rigby. who has been in training at the University of Utah. Mrs. Rigby will remain at the home of her parents while Mr. Rigby. who left this week for a military training train-ing camp, is in the service. Mrs. Rigby was given a shower at the home of her parents Thursday evening of last week. The rooms were bright with fall flowers. Luncheon was served, after which the time was spent looking over the bride's trousseau. Those enjoying the affair included in-cluded Mrs. Paul Merrill, Mrs. Arrol Ellsworth Ells-worth of Gooding.
