BURBKA Oct 19. rxiring the week ill Robert "Wilson roceived a letter from J Pearl C Nicholson, a nurse in base hos-11 hos-11 pital No. S2, in Franco, who at tho time the letter was written was caring for Herbert I. Wilson, badly injured from shrapnel in tho shoulder and back. The letter was evidently written but a short time before the death of Mr. Wil- son. word of which has been received in I Eureka. He was a member of the Sev-' Sev-' enth engineers. It stated in the letter that the soldier was in a serious condition, condi-tion, hut that everything possible was being be-ing done for him and owing to his splen- Idld nerve and courage hopes were entertained enter-tained for his recovery. Robert Wilson has written to tho nurse for further particulars par-ticulars regarding his brother. |
