The second death from Spanish influenza -in fours days in the family of Oscar B. Madsen, "West Twelfth street, occurred at 3 o'clock this morning, when Mrs. Delia Bauschcr Mad-son, Mad-son, wife of Oscar B. Madson. succumbed to pneumonia, caused by influenza. Death came after an illness of several days. The daughjer, Josephine, 11 years of age, died Tuesday and was buried Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. At the time the daughter died Mrs. Madson was unconscious. When she regained consciousness Mrs. Madson called her husband to the bedside and implored him to tell her if their daughter had died. When informed that such was the case Mrs. Madson seemed to be resigned re-signed to frer fate. Mrs. Madson was one of the prominent promi-nent members -df the younger social set. She was active in relief society work' of the church and Red Cross work. The funeral services will be announced I later. |
