Show BINGHAM ITALIANS HOLD LIBERTY MEET Women Plan to Form Bed Cross Auxiliary Aux-iliary to Help U. S. Win War. Special to The Tribune. HLNJHAM, April 2. Natives of Italy, Who afe- now among the'Ieading American citizens of this camp, were the participants partici-pants tonight In one of the most largely attended and enthusiastic patriotic meetings meet-ings ever held in this city. The meeting was held at the Commercial club and John Contralto was chairman. The meeting' meet-ing' was called for t Fie purpose of arousing arous-ing enthusiasm in the third Liberty loan ;md was a pronounced success from every sta ndpoint. Among the speakers were Mayor Q. B. Kelly, president of the Commercial club; Attorney A. C. Cole, Judge John C. Green. Dominie 1 'ezapaue, Joe Scut-sell, M rs. Mary Contralto and Mrs. John H. Miiano. The war situation was discussed at length by the speakers, all of whom were confident of ultimate victory. The Italian women are arranging for the organization of a Red Cross auxiliary, aux-iliary, which is expected to fill an important impor-tant place in the activities of the Salt Lake county chapter. |
