Show COMMITTEE APPROVES MEYER INVESTIGATION WASHINGTON, April 2. The house military commit tee favorably reported today to-day a resolution by Representative Anthony, An-thony, Republican, of Kansas, Inquiring of the war department why Herbert A. Mover, formerly private secretary to Secretary Sec-retary laue, was given a captain's commission com-mission in the army when he it of draft age. Representative Anthony said that on Information In-formation from the war department tVmt no man f draft age would be commissioned commis-sioned until ho had enlisted, many members mem-bers of congress hnd notified their con-stituents con-stituents that their applications for commissions com-missions would not be passed on favorably favor-ably unless they first entered the service. |
