Funeral services for Thomas James. 7-1 years of age, who for more than twenty-five twenty-five years had been a resident of Sugar-house, Sugar-house, were held yesterday afternoon at the. Percy C. Silver mortuary chapel, former for-mer Bishop John M. Whitaker of S'ugar-house S'ugar-house ward presiding. Mr. .Tames was well known to every man, woman and child in Sugarhouse, where he was familiary known as "Father "Fa-ther James." The children were especially espe-cially fond of him, as he was wont to play with them on their way to and from school. fie was 'known as a deep student of modern and ancient history. Because of his great familiarity with history he was often called upon by those who knew him to settle disputes ancnt matters of historical his-torical interest. |
