Show COLLEGE SPORT TO BE THRESHED OifER Plans for athletics In intercollegiate circles, including schedules for basketball, basket-ball, track and .baseball, will be discussed this afternoon immediately following the high school coaches' meeting at a conference confer-ence of representatives of the four colleges col-leges in this state. The B. Y. C. may decide to put in a petition to be admitted to the Rocky-Mountain Rocky-Mountain conference. The B. Y. U. has already decided to petition the conference for admission, and If the request is granted, grant-ed, the B. Y. C. alone would be left in this state, since the University of Utah and the U. A. C. are already members of the conference. The University of Utah will be represented repre-sented today at the meeting by Dr. H. Leo Marshall, Professor Walter A. Kerr and Coach Tommy Fitzpatrick. The U. A. C. will be represented by Dr. George West, Coach Jack Watson and J. D. Co-burn. Co-burn. Professor L. H. Peterson and C. L. Roberts will represent the B. Y. U. Coach A. L. Knapp will be on hand for the B. Y. C. The drawing up of a basketball schedule sched-ule for the present season will stimulate activity in the hoop game in the colleges. At the present time there is not very much interest in basketball in some of the schools owing to the absence of experienced ex-perienced players, but the drawing up of a schedule will give the boys something to work for.
