Show FilLTOi-ffl! CO TO BE CRUCIAL TEST By International News Service. NEW YORK, Jan. 2. Pugilistic circles are now "net up" about the bout between Frank Moran and Fred Fulton at New Orleans. The winner of the bout will probably be matched to meet Jess Willard for the championship. Fight fans believe that the bout will give a line on how good Fulton really is. They figure that Moran has been sliding bad; the past two years and is not a worthy opponent for the champion. Whether Fulton is up to the mark remains to be seen. On the other hand, Moran's friends are confident that 'the Pittsburger will stop the Minnesota giant. They point out that Moran has been g-etting in fine condition con-dition while training the soldiers at a southern camp and that when he meets Fulton he will be a much better man than he was in the last three bouts he fought. Before the bout takes place Fulton will again meet Tate, the man who won on a foul from him two weeks ago. Fulton Ful-ton is confident he' can reverse the verdict ver-dict obtained over him and wants to prove by winning from Tate and Moran that he is in line for a bout for the title. |
