This work is prart it-ally completed and M r. Snyder reports very favorable results. The pereeniae, of extraction of liie metals has exceeded ex pecta tion. The maim aement cousiiU-rs the condition condi-tion of development in the mine sufficient to warrant a temporary suspension of such work until the experimental tests being conducted in Salt Iake are concluded con-cluded and the proposed reduction plant is well under construction. Following out t his policy, it lias been decided to close down No. 1 shaft on January 1, but operations opera-tions will be continued at the Oreen wood shaft and effort directed to the mining of high-grade ores only. This reduced operating programme, with the continuation of high-grade shipments, should place the company In a very strong IKtsition financially, and when the reduction reduc-tion plant Is completed no new financing should be necessary to begin mining on a large scale the great tonnage of so-called low-grades ores which have been exposed in the Greenwood mine.
