Show MACKENZIE TO STAY FOR PARLEY IN EAST A. G. Mackenzie, secretary of the Utah chapter of the American Minine- congress. Is not expected to complete his work at Washington until about the middle of the month, axjeording' to information received here yesterday. Mr. Mackenzie was appointed ap-pointed a member of the Utah delegation to serve on the general committee composed com-posed of western metal representatives to ronfer with the federal authorities on the price fixing of silver and proposed amendments amend-ments to the excess profits tax law. Senator George H. Oern and V. R. "Wallace, the other members of the delegation, dele-gation, have returned to Salt Lake, but Mr. Mackenzie remained to represent the metal producers of the state in conferences confer-ences until such a time as the various matters were disposed of. |
