The' class dance given last night by 'the Juniors of ibe high school was a much enjoyed event, tftwas the first school party that has beeu allowed since the lifting of the ban and wt -attended by 'many students of the si'hool, besides the juniors. Tonip kin's orchestra furnished ihe music. , The members of the Wednesday Bridge club were entertained at the Owyhee hotel by Mrs. Henry Sin alley Wednesday afternoon. Miss Margaret Black inger entertained fhe Dee ma club girls at her bome Saturday evening eve-ning of last week. Following the business the club members worked on t he Christmas stockings stock-ings for the municipal Christmas tree. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. The College Woman's club held its first meeting meet-ing nf the year Monday evening at the home of Mrs. A. A. Fraspr. The hostesses were Mesdames Fraser, Vang ho. Fisher. Pike nd Tims. Miss Cuddy, Misa Boyle and Miss Barnes. The cpih memtiors are all collee women and the club is noted for Its splendid programs and ! enterta inment s. .Mr. and Mrs. R. B. WhittPU. who had visited ' in Boise for a week, left Thursday for their , home at Grimes Pass. Roberts. left Monday evening eve-ning for Colorado, where she will meet her husbfoirl. who linn received his discharge from the officers' training camp jn Kentucky. Mrs. W. L. Wliynian has arrived from Hnlley to spend the holidays with her parents iu Boise.
