Mrs. E. 0. Leatbenvood, has issued the j following open letter to the club women of the state: I "Greetings of the season. May all1 the good things of the Christmastide come to each and every one of you, and 1 become part of the ensuing year. ' ' Having had our executive board ! meeting, t he new administration should ; be. able to announce its policy, but i events move so rapidly and conditions 1 change i so swiftly that things which seemed almost idealistic one week mere-- have become superstitions of the past ' ..the following week, so it seems the wisca Fvf' course -for the State Federation of ! ''Mrs. Josiah Evans C'owles, the general gen-eral federation president, has written a letter to each state, urging the uniting of those new organizations with the state federal ion in order that united womanhood may render the best service to town, state and nation. ( ' A meeting of the executive board and chairmen of departments will be held about the middle of January. There will be an executive session in the morning. Iu the afternoon there will be a council of the executive board, all committee chairmen and all club presidents presi-dents who care to attend. The place of meeting and date will be announced later. Radiant chapter Xo. 12, Order of the I Eastern Star, will hold joint installation installa-tion of new officers Friday evening at S o 'dock at the Masonic temple. All members of the order are invited. The Jled Cross auxiliary of the Ladies' La-dies' Literary club will not meet until the second week in Januarv. j 1 Mizpah chapter Xo. 5. 0. E. S., will j hold its regular December meeting un- der dispensation on Monday evening at 7:30 o 'clock, for the transaction of business and election of officers. Thursday Thurs-day evening the. installation of officers and peace celebration will be held. All members are invited.' |
