"If it is the purse that is keeping Jess Willard out of the ring with Jack Lempsey, that can be supplied to the perfect satisfaction of Jess "Willard." This news came in a wire from James F. lougherty of Philadelphia Phila-delphia today, who declared he would offer Jess his own terms to sign with Dempsey. Dougherty says he will start a crusade against Jesa and keep after him until he signs.
