McDonald, manager of the Inter-Mountain Inter-Mountain Electric Company Service station, sta-tion, has given out some very helpful hints in the last few weeks regarding winter storage for batteries. We have customers who have tried both ways taking care of their own battery and having us store It and they say it isn't worth the risk of uncertain results and maybe a ruined battery, just to avoid a, small storage charge. "Our batterv experts are specialists in both classes of storage wet and dry. All threaded rubber insulated batteries received re-ceived are stored wet. They are kept filled with water and fully charged. When delivered In the spring they are guaranteed guaran-teed to be in perfect condition if they were received in good border. A battery i In wet storage Is ready for use on a min-! min-! ute's notice. i "Owners of wood insulated batteries i should take advantage of our dry storage facilities. There Is a big advantage in this because dry storage takes care of r-Insnlation r-Insnlation during the time when you are not using the car, thus not only eliminating eliminat-ing the cost of a rental battery, but also the inconvenience of having the car laid up when you want it most. Because a htUterv in dry storage must be reassem-I reassem-I bled when wanted, a two weeks' notit-e is required, and the only charge we make 1 for the storage Is the cost of re-insulation, and any new parts that may be . needed. "Bring us your battery to be tested each week, and keep on the safe side. Ask us about the advantages of owning a still better Wfllard battery with threaded j rubber insulation." |
