Andrew -Anderson, pioneer, died In this city on December De-cember 31 from causes due to old ae, a fall on November 22 being the direct i cause of his last illness. He had reached j the age of 82 years, 1 month and 7 days. ; He was born in New Prove, Presto county, Denmark, November 4, 1S36, and joined the Mormon church in hla native land, emigrating to Utah in the fall of ISofi and locating in Ephraim, where he endured the hardships of pioneer life. He was married December 21, 1859, to Kisty Olson. who died November 20, 1910. In lSfiS they were , called, to settle CircieviJle, where, after getting a comfortable com-fortable home and an excellent farm, ' they were forced by the Indians to abandon aban-don everything. He was the father of eight chiidren, three of whom survive him. They are Mrs. O. N, Soderberg and Mrs. Hyrum Dorius of Ephraim and Mrs. i H. A. Jenson of Salt Lake. |
