Through the improvement now boin? msbed to completion in l.shc'r pa?s nnd upon the Goodyear section of the Lincoln Lin-coln highway in Utah, the great transcontinental trans-continental route is for the first time being made available to cross country motor freight traffic. The desert section of the Lincoln highway to the west of Salt Lake City has always been the one great barrier to throughhound, overland travel. JJt has been the stumbling block in the path of all who have attempted to travel it since the ilays of the pioneer. Because of it, commercial traffic has been held entirely impractical. This condition is being forever eliminated elimi-nated through the building of the Goodyear Good-year section across the lower arm of the Salt Lake desert and the opening up of Fisher pass, connecting Orr ' ranch and Rush valley.
