TWO OFFICERS OF ARMY DISMISSED WASHINGTON. Dec. 21. Dismissal from the army of Major Guslav Taussig Taus-sig and Captain Frank S. White, for negligence in connection with unduly disciplinary measures against army conscientious con-scientious objectors in a detention section sec-tion at Camp Funslon. Kansas, was announced an-nounced hy Secretary Baker. Major Taussig was in charge of the section. He was convicted of having permitted per-mitted undue severity before the prisoners prison-ers had been formally convicted of any offense. Captain White, as judge advocate, advo-cate, was charged with having made only a superficial investigation of the case when it was brought to his attention. Secretary Baker said that several regular regu-lar army officers were Implicated, and j the cases of these will be taken up In the regular routine of the department.
