AUTO THIEVES USING UNREGISTERED TAGS J CHICAGO, Jan. 2S. Charges that some employee in the office of the secretary of state at Springfield, by issuing unregistered un-registered tags, was in league with a band of automobile thieves, who have .stolen many cars in Chicago in the last few months, were made today by State's Attorney Hoyne. The automobile thieves put the unregistered unreg-istered license tags on stolen cars after throwing away the number plates, Hoyne said he was told by members of an alleged al-leged gang of automobile thieves t now under arrest.
