Show DELTA LIVESTOCK IS BEING IMPROVED The improvement of livestock in the Delta district is one of the live topics which will be brought to the attention of whatever official or board has charge of encouraging" such matters under the consolidation con-solidation and efficiency programme of the present state administration. The farmers of the Delta district have met and reorganized the Delta Farm bureau. bu-reau. The organization was originally established last summer, but owing to j the time of year it got under way, it was ! found difficult to raise a sufficient inter-jest inter-jest where satisfactory results could be 'achieved. There are said to be indtca-; indtca-; tions, however, that keen interest In the work will be taken from now on, and that every effort will be made to bring the attention at-tention of those interested in livestock development to the work of the bureau. The new organization has a charter membership of thirty-seven. The officers selected at the organiaztion meeting were: President, D. F. Peterson; vice president, E. Li. Lyman; secretary, A. P. Wallace, and E. H. Bishop and H. K. Soules members mem-bers of the board of directors. |
