HONOR CONFERRED ON TWO AMERICANS PARIS, Jan. 28. The Rev. Tt. S. M. Watson, pastor of the American Hiurcn in Paris, who is president of the American Ameri-can clearing house committee of Paris, and G. S. Howland. an artist of New-York, New-York, have been nominated chevaliers in the Legion of Honor. Tn Dr Watson's case, the order orn-ciallv orn-ciallv stated that the honor was conferred con-ferred for "the greatest zeal shown in the work of propaganda in fnvor of prance and hr allies."
