Show PET ANIMAL SHOW TO BE HELD TODAY Exhibition of Plants Will Be an Added Feature; Much Interest Manifested. A new feature is added to tbe annual an-nual pet animal show of tbe Wasatch school, which will be held at tho school building today from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m., in the form of a plant show. Each year the school, under tho direction direc-tion of Miss Etta. Powers, principal, holds a pet animal show, but it was decided this year to add the new feature of plants and have the children exhibit the flowers they have grown during the season. Miss Powers announced last night that the show this -year promises to be the most interesting yet held and, while the number of animals on exhibit will not be larger than in previous years, the grade of pets shown will be finer, as a J esuit of experience and competition gained in former shows. Through the generosity of P. J. Mo-ran, Mo-ran, arrangements have been made to have "Princess Alice," the big elephant of Liberty park "7.00," at the animal show this afternoon. Tins is expected to prove the big feature of the show. The elephant will be on exhibition in tho school vard during most of the afternoon, aft-ernoon, while the other pet animals will be on display, in their best bibs and tuckers, in the school rooms. |
