Show COLORADO AGGIES PLAY TIGERS TODAY FORT COLLINS. Colo.. Oct. 27. The football contest to be staged here tomorrow tomor-row between the Colorado college Tigers and the Colorado Aggies conference champions of 9!6 is expected to be the hardest fought conference game this year. Both learns have been undefeated, and, as far as conference teams go, appear to be in a class by themselves. Scott, the Aggies' strong back, may not be in the lineup, owing to illness in his family, and the filling of his position without with-out loss to the strength of the team has given Coach Hughes a perplexing prob-'lem. prob-'lem. The Tigers are making every preparation prepara-tion to meet and. if possible, to defeat the aggregation that wrested the champion-ship from them last year. Coach Rothgeb's men are said never to have been in better condition, and the team, with a number of veterans, is as good now as ever represented the Orange and Black. Their victories by overwhelming scores over the Miners and the University of New Mexico are expected to give them an even footing in the odds against the Aggies. The local school last year enjoyed en-joyed the coveted championship for the ilrst time In Its history, and, . with the loss of six of its veterans, Coach Hughes is leaving nothing undone to retain the Aggies' hard-won laurels. |
