Show FEDERAL CLERK IS ASKED FOR PROOFS The troubles of Harry Loakus, at present pres-ent serving a term in the penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kan., will not cease when he Is released within a few days. Since Loakue was sent to prison February 18, 191.1, form Salt Lake, he has been considering con-sidering ways and meanB to satisfy bis native government, Greece, that he did not absent himself from the land of his birth because of dislike to Join the army when it was called upon to fight in the Balkan war. Now that he Is about to he deported aa an undesirable citizen, Ioakus is worried and has written to the clerk of the federal court, John W. Christy, to furnish him with satisfactory evidence that his stay in this noun try was not a matter of choice, such evidence to be presented to the officials in Greece. I This Mr. Christy will do. |
