Show IS. I. B. HOLDS ITS II1J1ULECT1 J. W. Boud Named President Presi-dent and G. H. Butler Is Contention Delegate. Officers to serve during the next year were elected last night at the regular meeting of the American Institute of Banking in the Commercial club. Delegates Dele-gates were also selected to attend the national convention of the institute in Cincinnati next September. ,1. W. Koud of Walker Brothers bank was elected to succeed G. II. Butler as president, and Mr. Butler was elected as tlie local chapter's delegate to the convention of the Utah Bankers' association, asso-ciation, where he will read a paper on some technical banking subject, at the request of the association. Cther of ticers elected were: C. 7. Evans of the Tracy Loan & Trust company, com-pany, vice president; C. B. Bobbins of the Utah Savings & Trust company, secretary; sec-retary; S. E. Fern ley of the McCornick bank, treasurer: W. R. Granville of the Tracy Loan & Trust company, member of the executive committee. Five delegates were appointed by the membership to attend the national convention, con-vention, and two alternates were chflsen to go in case some of the delegates were unable to make the trip cast. The delegates dele-gates are J. W. Boud, the new president of the chapter; Q. B. Kelly, Citizens' 8tate bank, Bingham; J. A.' Alalia, National Na-tional ( 'opper bank ; Joel R. Parrish, ' Farmers ' State bank, Woods Cross ; Samuel Williams, McCornick bank. The alternates are E. V. Pratt, Tracy Loan & Trust company, and Erza T. Stevenson, Steven-son, Ueseret National bank. |
