Mayor Ferry said last night that he would probably turn the matter over to the citizens ' training camp committee for handling. ''If the committee finds it advisable to have a parade of the sort urged, ' ' said the mayor, 1 ' I will give my hearty co-operation toward j making "it such a success as will reflect) Salt Lake's characteristic spirit of loy-i alty and patriotism." While no definite decision as to whether or not tho parade will be held will be made until the mayor lias conferred con-ferred with the citizens' training camp committee, it is thought likely by mem- hers of thrc ehm mitten whn have heard of the movement that Salt Lake will be in line with a demonstration. Raymond C. Nalor, chairman of the sub-committee on finance, said last night that he would be very much in favor of having1 hav-ing1 a parade and of making every effort to insure its being a splendid demonstration. |
