Show FERDINAND ERICKSON IS DECLARED WINNER Special to The Tribune. R 1 1 ' HF1KLD, May 1 S . M. T. A . day drew a large crowd of people here yesterday yes-terday to the Second ward chapel. Ft. N-Haves N-Haves was master of ppvenmnipt! Mnein was furnished by the high school choir, among the selections being "When the Foeman Hares His Steel," "Music of Spring," "I-hNnoresque" and " "Tis the Iot of Friends lo Fart." There were onlv two contestants, and these were in the puhlic speaking contest. Ferdinand Frickson of Monroe delivered an oration on. "Patriotism," and 'Lamar Tlobinson of Richfield spoke on "Faith." The judges were D. P. Jenson, I. R. Mitchell and Krnest Winkler, and their decision was unanimous for the first speaker. p:iab-orate p:iab-orate luncheon was served to those present. |
