Show BOXELDER BOARD HAS BUSY SESSION Among Other Matters, Purchase of $12,-000 $12,-000 in Logan Bonds Is Authorized by Commissioners. Special to The Tribune. ' BRIGHAM CITY, ilav 18. The county coun-ty commissioners have appointed the following fol-lowing Helpgates to the intermoimtain good roads convention to convene in Ugden June 13 and 14: T. P. Meister, Tremonton: H. G. Johnson, East Garland: Gar-land: Brigham Jensen, T. H. Blackburn, Brigham; John P. Conlev, West Portage; Albert E. Holmgren, Bear River Citv. Blackburn, Cnnlev and Holmgren represent repre-sent the board of county commissioners. The board adopted a resolution authorizing au-thorizing the purchase of $12,000 Logan Vi per cent bonds at par. with accrued interest, from the state board of land commissioners. The matter of passing -an ordinance for the muzzling and quarantining of dogs, as suggested by the state board of health, was discussed bv the board and the ordinance submitted by the state health board was unanimously passed. The ordinance deals with the rabies situation sit-uation in the western part of Boxclder county. The commissioners appropriated $400 to grade the county road from (Joriune east to the Southern Pacific crossing, and $400 was also appropriated to complete com-plete the road in East Garland. Mrs. Ida Petersen was appointed registrar of vital statistics of Rawlins precinct and Mrs. Philip Slatter was appointed registrar of the Junction precinct. pre-cinct. ' The petition of residents of Tremonton Tremon-ton to have the name of Tremonton polling precinct changed from Manila to Tremonton, was granted. |
