Show STUDENTS TO HOLD ANNUAL FIELD DAY i L. D. S. University Pupils Will Make Merry in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The entire student body of the h. P. S. university will hold its annual field day in Little Cottonwood canyon today. Special cars will be run by the Utah Light & Traction company to Midvale, where flat cars will take the students up the canyon on the Alta & Salt Lake line. The students will assemble at the Hotel Utah, the first car leaving the monument at 7:20 and others leaving every fifteen minutes for an hour. The L. D. S. university band will accompany the students, and dancing will be held during the afternoon. Concerts Con-certs are also tcheduled on tho way to the resort. The Wasatch hotel will be open to the visitors. The committee in charge of the affair af-fair consists of Claude C. Cornwall, chairman of tho school amusement committee; com-mittee; Orson Pratt, president, and Miss Mary Hansen, first vice president, of the student body. Hiking parties will be the order of the dav. under the direction direc-tion of J. C. Thomas, 'A. S. Kienke, Joseph Jo-seph E. Richards, Frank K. Seegmil-Jcr. Seegmil-Jcr. E. T. Cannon and Fred Pack. The party will return at 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon. |
