MAY BUY AUTO FOR PROBATION OFFICERS Matter of the Purchase Is to Be Considered Con-sidered by the City, County and . State Today. A delegation consisting of ono member mem-ber of tho county commission, one member mem-ber of tho state juvenile court commission commis-sion and Governor Spry, will meet with the city commission this morning at 0 o'clock to consider an agreement under which it is planned to purchase an automobile for probation ollicers of Salt Lake county, provide more adequate ade-quate means of transportation about the county and arrange some way of increasing in-creasing the pay of the officers. Under the proposal submitted by the juvenile court commission the city and 'county aro to appropriate an equal amount with the commission itself for the purchase of an automobile, tho three commissioners to contribute equally to the maintenance of the' machine ma-chine Also an attempt is to be made to raise sufficient money from the city and couutv to make possible an increase in-crease from $S0 to $.100 a month in the wages of the officers.
