Show COURT RULES AGAINST CLAIM MADE BY GIRL NEW YORK, Oct. 6. A decision In the contest of tho will of the late William Zlegler. the baking powder manufacturer, manufac-turer, who lefl. 15,000,000, mado public by Surrogate Fowler, rules against tho claim of Florence Brandt Zlegler, whose adoption in 1906 as a child of Zlegler was abrogated six years later. Surrogate Fowler denied the young woman's application ap-plication to have the abrogation decree set aside. Ziogler left his fortuno to William Zlegler. Jr., brother of the girl who Is contesting the will. Tho two were adopted at tho f-'amo time. Their father, George Washington Brandt, now of Chicago, later divorced his wife and subsequently Mr. Zlegler and his wlfo relinquished their claim on Florence, who went back to her own father. |
