A bit of wild wost near-tragedy was enacted in the railroad yards today when Isldor Proder. a railroad detective, suddenly insane, held up four mon In a switchmen's switch-men's shanty. When all had their hands uplifted) palms outward,, lie began firing. Of five bullets, only two found their marks, wounding J. J. Donlln and F. B. West. Proder backed out and officers later arrested him. Donlin and West were able to appear in court with their arms In sllngn.
