Mike McDcrmott of the Illinois A, C, Chicago, won the seventh nnnual national championship ten-mile swim conducted by the Missouri Athletic club hore today, Ho covered the distance in 1:50:45. McDcrmott used a combination of the double overarm trudgeon stroke and the breast stroke kick. The contest was carried out under the rules of the National Amateur Athletic Ath-letic union.
