Show COMFORT STATIONS MAY BE REMOVED Objects to Horses Being Impounded by City and May Thus Retaliate. Re-taliate. Seymour B. Young, who owns a rancn in Parley's canyon, served no tice on tne city water department or-ficials or-ficials yesterday' that if tiie city per-sists per-sists in impounding his horses for trespassing tres-passing on the city farm he will retaliate re-taliate by insisting that the city remove re-move its sanitary comfort stations from his ranch. Soveral of Young's horses were impounded im-pounded Friday on order of A. IP. Cum-miugs, Cum-miugs, foreman of watersheds for the city. They were found grazing in th" city's wheat field, doing considerable damage. Young argued to Commissioner Commis-sioner Korns yesterday that in view of his kindness in allowing tho city to build its comfort stations on his property prop-erty he believed tho city should make an exception when his horses trespass on city property. The' water officials declined to take the samo view of tho matter and if Young carries out his ultimatum the city will have to relocate the comfort stations so as to remove them from the Young ranch. |
