He moved to Johnstown, Pa., where was associated with somo of the H and iron interests. Later he moved vmm Pueblo, Colo., and in 1883 moved t Utah and became associated with i Pleasant Valley Coal company at Mud Creelc mine. Later he be!.aM superintendent at Winter Qnartenj Utah, where ho met with a Eenous cident resulting in the loss of one ofc his limbs. After this accident no omm came chief clerk to tho general perintendent, W. G. Sharp.
