Show LESPS FROM BUGGY; IS FATALLY HURT Mrs. John S. Park Dies Soon After Receiving Concussion of Brain. Special to The Tribune. PROVO, July 19. Mrs. Martha M. Park, wife of John S. Parle, of Provo bench, died at the Provo general hospital hos-pital at 5 o'clock this afternoon, of concussion of the brain received iu a runaway accident. Sho expired a. few minutes after being taken to the hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. Park was driving from her home to Provo with her grown son, William, and some younger members of the family in a surrej'. At the lower bonch the horse became unmanageable and started to run. "William. Park told the others not to jump and all remained seated except Mrs Park, who leaped out, striking on her head. She was picked up by a passing auto and hurried hur-ried to the hospital. The horse was soon under control and the occupants' of the buggy escaped iuiury. Mrs. Park was 56 years of age, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayman Parker of Farmington. She is survived by the husband and the following children: chil-dren: Mrs. Alfred Ostler and Mrs. Ray Davis. Provo bench: Mrs. Josiah Howard, Carey. Ida.; the Misses Lu-ella Lu-ella and Beatrice Park, who live at home: Hugh Park, Duxbury, Alberta, Canada; Albert and William Park, Provo bench. Funeral arrangements will not be made until tho absent members of the family arc heard from. |
