Show Weddings and Engagements Que of the most interesting matrimonial matri-monial announcements of the present season was that made yesterday iu Ogden of the engagement of Miss Margaret Mar-garet Spargo to James William Collins of this city. The announcement was made at a tea given yesterday afternoon after-noon by Mrs. James H. Spargo, tho bride's mother, at the Virginia hotel. The bride is one of the most popular of the young Ogden belles, a gifted young girl who has many friends here as well as in her homo town. Mr. 'Collius is vice president of the Tracy Loan & Trust company here, ajyl is well known in club and social circles. The date of the marriage is not yet announced. Miss Spargo will be here tho latter part of the week to be the guest for a few days of Mr. and Mrs. Russel L. Tracy at their home. h li j Mr. J. S. McConaughy of Bochelle, III., announces the engagement of his daughter, Editha Jane, to Harry L. Gillogly of Chicago, the marriage to take placo Saturday, August 9. The wedding will be an elaborate affair at the home of tho bride's aunt, Mrs. J. S. Ncilson, Malvern Hill, Peoria. Tho bride is a beautiful young girl, who was a guest at the McConaughy home hero two summers ago, and she has a host of Salt Lake friends to wish her happiness. Mr. and Mrs. P. Paine announco the engagement of their daughter, Minna, to H. C. Anderson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Anderson, the marriage to take place in the earlv fall. Mr. and Mrs. William Wolff have announced: the engagement of their daughter, Ruth, to A. L. The bride was gowned in a white embroidery dress over cream satin. She carried a bouquet of rosea and sweet peas. Miss Beth Young was a bridesmaid and Lloyd Rumph was best man.
