The matter of the detention home for girls was discussed at length. Matron Young of the Juvenile court said that often the court was called upon to take girls from homes whore the conditions are immoral and tho surroundings evil, but when these girls arc so taken from undesirable homes the court has no place of refuge for them. All who spoke on tho matter were earnest in pointing out the urgent necessity neces-sity of establishing a detention homo for gill'', and a. committee was appointed to look Into the matter from beginning to end. This committee consists of Mrs. Mary Bern, .Mrs. P. A. Slmpkln. Mrs. Warren Benjamin and Mrs. Hummel. Indorso Bond Issue.
