As a result of a headon collisiou between a fregiht train and a light engino on tho Hio Grande railroad this morning, two" of the engine crow nro dead and three arc injured. Tho Dead. t G. F. The accident, took jilaco in a blindin snowslonn near Kobe 'Siding. Freight No. 61, westbound, was making its way slowly up the grade, when light, engine en-gine No. 7S3 plunged into it. Both engines en-gines wore badly wrecked. It is said that the causo of the accident acci-dent was misunderstanding of orders on the part of Engineer Kreist. |
