Show SENSATIONAL DIVORCE GASEjSBEING HEARD Mrs. Louie Hollberg Makes Serious Seri-ous Charges Against Her Husband. The unsavory divorce case of Louie Hollberg against Charles A. Hollberg was taken up before Judge Morse Monday afternoon af-ternoon and occupied the entire afternoon after-noon session, and will probably take all day today before It Is concluded. Mrs. Hollberg charges her husband with cruelty, drunkenness and failure to support. sup-port. Her testimony showed that thoy were married In this city on March 28. 1900. and that they have two children. During the past two years, she declared, he had failed to support her at all, onlv giving her $3 or $1 per week with which to support herself and two children. During that tlmo, she declared, her mother had to bring her ln food and also clothing for tho children. She also said that her husband came home drunk throo or four times a week and that ho would often get angry at her and refuse to eat breakfast at home. She told of other acts of cruelly of such a character as to bo unfit for publication. Not being content with depriving her of money for her support, she said that Hollberg advertised ln tho papers that he would not bo responsible for any debts which she contracted. She also doclarcd that ho often abused her and called her vile names. Mrs. Hollberg Is asklnir for a dlvorco, the custody of tho children. 540 per month alimony and $75 as attorney's fees. Tho trial will bo concluded today. |
