The Red Top mine of tho Consolidated Is day by day adding to ltn woli demonstrated demon-strated worth and possibilities as an oro producer, and has a greater length of almost, continuous oro exposed than any portion of tho Consolidated estate, according ac-cording to the Coldtlcld Tribune. On the 200 foct level tnere a continuous body of ore for 1700 feet, with tho exception of a break of about 250 feet, tho oro extending from the old Consolidated Red Top Jeaso on tho northern end of the Consolidated property on tho Red Top claim, through tho Lucky Boy claim to tho old Illgglnson lease on tho Gold Wedge claim. In tho neighborhood of tho latter block of ground one of the finest bodies of ore ever found on this vein Is now under development, and production, pro-duction, the stopc3 averaging thirty feet wide and tho output running about ?40 per ton. Exploratory Work. A great deal of exploratory work has been done with good results during tho past few months. The workings on the 1C0 level, south of the shaft, havo opened largo bodies of good milling ore. nnd the heading of this level Is getting out Into closo proximity to the Illgglnson oro shoot, but. has not progressed as far In that direction as has tho 260 level. Between thoso two levels stopes and raises have proven up oro reserves of great strength and regularity of values, the oro being almost continuous, as has been stated, for 1700 feel. rPhA .130 level Is belnc extended both north nnd south, and has opened some excellent terltory.
