JP10, according ac-cording to a statement made by Mr. Waters Monday afternoon. The latter slated that ho had assumed tho luaso formerly held by Don Porter. Sain Porter, manager of, the Kenyon hotel, said he had not been apprised of the consummation of the deal, lie slated that an unsigned lease had been forwarded for-warded to Don Porter at Stockton, Cal.. for consideration, and that so far as ho knew the lease had not been accepted or rejected hy Mr. Porter.
