Show i CLUB TO HOLD SECOND ANNUAL FEAST New Officers Will Also Be Named a.f Meeting Tonight. Members of tho Salt Lake Ad club will gather at the Commercial club this ovening for their second annual banquet ban-quet and election of officers. No formal for-mal programme has been arranged, but there will bo a number of impromptu speeches and a few "stunts" characteristic charac-teristic of tho publicity profession. A. D. McGuirc, president of the club for the last year, will act as toast master. mas-ter. It is unofficially announced that the menu will be made up of printers and ad compositors done to u turn, but, incidentally blucpoints, roast turkey, whitefish and appurtenances will bo served on tho side. Thc Ad club is just a year old, but in its short period of existence has succeeded suc-ceeded in becoming one of the most prominent business organizations in the state. Tn the year more than 200 letters let-ters have been sent to similar organizations organ-izations throughout Hie country, and reports of thc monthly meetings arc printed in tho loading advertising magazines mag-azines of the east and west. The coming com-ing year several matters of importance to business nieu will be taken up and an effort made lo improve the conditions condi-tions existing in the local advertising field. The campaign against "fake" and "graft" advertising is to be taken up and waged in a determined mannor until tho desired result is accomplished. ac-complished.
