Show SENSATION IS CAUSED III HE COURT Mother Appears and -Demands Restoration of Her Children. A mild sensation was caused in the Juvenile court room Monday by a woman demanding that the court restore to her her twos children which were taken in charge by the court after they had apparently ap-parently been abandoned by their mother. moth-er. The woman became so abusive in hot- language that she had to be removed by force from the room by Probation Officer Of-ficer Sporry. Sho threatened 'the court with all kinds of calamities If her children chil-dren were not returned to her. It appears from the facts, as told to tho court officials, that the woman left her two children with a friend and agreed to pay for their keep while she went out to work. She failed to pay for them or to even go to see them so the woman supposed that tho mother Intended to desert de-sert them and she accordingly asked the Juvcnllo court to take charge of them. When the mother learned that tho children had been turned over to the Juvenile court on Monday she called at the courtroom and raised such a. disturbance dis-turbance that she had to be ejected. Sho was told by Judge McMaster that the case would be heard on Thursday and she could come at that time and convince con-vince the court if possible that she was a fit and proper person to hayo the custody cus-tody of tho children and If so they would be returned to her. Four children wero before the court , Monday for various offenses and wero , placed on probation. |
