Show LARGE SUMS INVOLVED IX IRRIGATION PROJECT More than $20,000 will be involved in the irrigation scheme to be carried out by farmers in the southern end of Salt Lake county. The project, when complete, will be the means of placing many acres of land under cultivation. The question of rushing tho work of installing the pumping pump-ing station along the .Ionian canal and laying pipe line was taken up at a speJ cial meeting of the Sandy Commercial club Monday, when the feasibility of the venture was thoroughly discussed. Several Sev-eral well-known engineers were present and gave their opinion, with the result that a company will bo formed by the last of the week. |
