Show STEPTOE ENGINEER 01 UNITED STATES STAFF Experienced Man to Look After Construction Planned by Company. R. K. Stockwcll, who for a year past has been smelter engineer for tho Step-too Step-too Valley Smelting and Mining company at Ely, is now In tho employ of the United States Smelting company, with offices in this city, on tho staff of the constructing engineers. Mr. Stockwcll's first work in his new position will be the construction of the new power house, to bo erected at the Centennial Eureka property, and following the completion of that structure ho will supervise the erection erec-tion of tho haghousc for the destruction of copper fumes at the smelter at Bingham Bing-ham Junction. After this work Is completed It Is understood un-derstood that Mr. Stockwcll will undertake under-take tho complete remodeling of tho smelter at Needles, Cal., a recent acquisition acqui-sition of the United States people. Mr-Stockwcll, Mr-Stockwcll, prior to his becoming engaged as engineer for the Stcptoe people, was employed In the company's drafting of-llce, of-llce, and he comes to Utah very highly recommended as a practical as well as a theoretical man.
