Show THREE BOLD BANDITS ROB PASSENGER TRAIN By Associated Press. PITTSBURG, Kan., Feb. 5. Three unidonljfied men held up and robbed passengers on an eastbound Missouri Pacific passenger train five miles oant of hero tonight. They were unmasked. About .$400 and a small amount of jewelry was taken. Tho robbers boarded tho train 011 the outskirts of Pittsburg. They look scats in the chair car until tho train wns near Cornell. Kan. There they jumped from their scats, backed Conductor Con-ductor Garrity into a corner and, drawing draw-ing revolvers, warned him not 'to call for assistance. Ono robber then covered the passengers passen-gers with two revolvers. "You will now prepare to give up 3011 r valuables," he said. "My part nor will pass among you. Please be quiet." The pari nor thereupon produced a guniysack and started on his collecting collect-ing tour. From each pafsengor ho took rnou03', watches, diamonds and riugs. |
