Ilyslop, the loading spirit in .pyschicnl research in tho country, who is desperately ill with typhoid fevor. The request for their pra3rcrs was sent out today by Dr. Titus Bull, of tho famous Bull family of physicians, who is in attendance oh the girl. The letter which Dr. Bull wroto was read at tho meeting of tho ladies' auxiliary of tho First Spiritualist church and wag acted upon immediately. "I have done all that mortal power can do to' save the, life of Dr. Ilyslop 's littlo daughter," wroto Dr. Bull, "and havo givon up. Tho onl3' thing that can save her life is intervention from tho spirit world, and I write for prayers pray-ers to ask tho spirits to do this." At the homo of tho girl it was said tonight hat sho was resting as easy as could ha expected and that there had been a slight improvement in her condition. It was impossiblo to learn whether Dr. Ilyslop himself recommended recom-mended the courso of tho physician for tho effort to have him express an opinion opin-ion found him as non-committal as ever as to whether he really believed in a spirit world whoso occupants could return to this world at all. Miss Ilyslop has been ill for Bix wooks. Her illness at first was thought to bo only a severe throat trouble, and then sho was thought to havo an attack at-tack of tho grippe.
