Show CHARGED WITH iAl UM II HITM Charles Shinall Wanted in Butte for Alleged Theft of Ring. Sheriff Joseph C. Sharp received" a telephone message from ShorlfC J. K. O'Rourko of Butte, Saturday morning, asking that ho place under arrest Charles Shinall, wanted at Butte for grand larceny, lar-ceny, and within five minutes after receiving re-ceiving the message. Deputy Sheriffs Andrew An-drew Smith and Dlek Eddlngton had Shmull in the county jail. Shmall rame to Salt Lake Clly recently recent-ly from Butte, where he had been In the employ of Joseph Boulet, proprietor of the Iona cafe. While employed by Boulet. It Is alleged, ho stolo a diamond ring from Ihe proprietor, valued at $185. and left the city. Aftor ho had arrived In Salt Lake City ho pawned tho ring for G5 at the pawnshop of I. Sletrcl, 175 South Main street, on January 20, and. returning to the pawnshop on January 20. sold the pawn ticket for ?5. When Sheriff Sharp received tho telephone tele-phone communication Saturday morning, he detailed Deputy Sheriffs Smith and Eddlngton to find the young man. Shmall hud been under the surveillance of the deputies for two days previous lo his arrest, which took place Saturday morning morn-ing at the Turf exchange, on East Second Sec-ond Sou Hi street. When taken to the county jail Shmall refused to discuss his c.-ise with the sheriffs, and said that ho Intended to return to Butte on Sunday. Jle smiled when told that his fare would.
