Show DATES ANNOUNCED FOR OGJEMETI Horsemen Will Give Ten Bays of Racing Preceding Salt Lake Races. At n meeting tnuight of the Wasatch .lockey club, nrrangomenis were completed com-pleted for tho Bprlng running race mooting moot-ing to bo held at tho Ogden fair grounds from May 25 to .Tunc 4. Inclunlve. This will give the Ogden people and aur-rounfllnsr aur-rounfllnsr country ten dnys of flrnt-clasB racing. The meeting will not conflict with tho Salt Lake meeting, which commences June fi. The names of the officials who will serve, with tho oxceptlon of that of the presiding Judmi, are: F. A. Lowo, associate asso-ciate judge; Earl G. McQualde. secretary and clerk of scales; Joxoph Weber, starter, start-er, and W. D. Rlnhcl, llmcr and paddock Judge. Six splendid races will he given daily, with puiscs aggregating $900. Frequent handicaps carrying with them valuable purses will be given. The betting ring will be open to all reputable bookmakers. There are more lhan Jlfly horses already al-ready quartered at the track, and 100 more that will bo shipped from Salt Lake. |
